That's what I'm getting:

$ grep -ho '"\.[A-Z]\+"' -rI storage/myisam|sort -u ".MYD"
".MYI"
".OLD"
".TMD"
".TMM"

The first two are for normal tables, the other three must be used for temporary 
tables.
