Dear Fellow Alumnus,

As part of their silver jubilee activities, Batch '82 hosted a dinner for
dear teachers last Saturday. Most of the teachers were retired or were no
longer connected with Marist. It was the usual trip to memory lane as teachers
were challenged to identify 1982 high school pictures. Tables were turned as
former students reprimanded mentors during the games. What made the night
unique was the attendance of Philippine political luminaries, all singing
praises to the Marist education. Of course, that was Jon Santos entertaining
beloved teachers.

Batch '77 is all set for their medical and dental mission. Initially set as
a surgical mission, it has now expanded to include optical services (with free
glasses), dental services, and diabetes screening.

The medical mission, starts 7am. Father RB Hizon '87 celebrates mass
(anticipated) at 4pm. Registration follows at 5pm. A program, starting at
6:30pm, prepares the alumni for the usual fellowship expected at 8pm.

We are still waiting for details of the webcast, sponsored by Globe. I know
alumni abroad are eager to "attend" the homecoming.

Just a preview of what to expect in our upcoming grand alumni homecoming.

  Ever Forever,
