Hello, markdown (Python implementation) seems to render: 
to <img src="pfad/und/eine" title="lange/url zum bild.jpg" alt="alternativer text"/> breaking the URL at the whitespace. AFAIK whitespaces are ok in URLs so why is it breaking up the URL here?
