--------------------------------------------------------------------- The Evening Bridge - June 01, 2005 --------------------------------------------------------------------- TOP STORY - At its annual shareholder's meeting in Philadelphia, Comcast added Joseph Collins and Edward Breed to the board of directors, bringing the total number of independent directors to eight of its 12 members. Also at the meeting, all company-sponsored motions were adopted into Comcast's master plan, yet every shareholder proposal was defeated. Among the defeated proposals were motions to disclose political contributions and the elimination of a Shareholder Rights Plan.

This delay will give cable operators a headstart, as they agressively roll out VoIP and thereby hook customers to their triple product bundle." --------------------------------------------------------------------- PrimeTime Players --------------------------------------------------------------------- Close Pts. + % Chg 52-Week BLS 26.87 0.11 0.41 % 24.65 - 28.96 CVC 25.54 - 0.04 - 0.16 % 16.13 - 31.64 CHTR 1.12 - 0.02 - 1.75 % 0.88 - 4.06 CMCSA 31.72 - 0.48 - 1.49 % 26.25 - 34.50 CSGS 19.28 0.26 1.37 % 14.02 - 21.22 DTV 14.95 0.02 0.14 % 13.88 - 18.25 DISH 29.39 0.17 0.58 % 26.95 - 34.38 GMSTE 3.27 - 0.13 - 3.82 % 2.93 - 6.39 GE 36.93 0.45 1.23 % 30.94 - 37.75 ICCI 11.21 - 0.09 - 0.80 % 7.83 - 12.15 IACI 24.72 0.22 0.90 % 19.16 - 31.79 L 10.36 - 0.03 - 0.29 % 8.33 - 11.21 LBTYA 42.04 0.13 0.31 % 28.60 - 47.70 MCCC 6.15 0.04 0.65 % 5.06 - 8.55 MSFT 25.84 0.04 0.16 % 23.82 - 30.20 MOT 17.49 0.12 0.69 % 13.83 - 20.47 MBND 1.10 - 0.07 - 5.98 % 0.95 - 1.78 MWAV 1.01 - 0.05 - 4.71 % 0.85 - 2.78 NNDS 31.50 - 0.03 - 0.10 % 19.60 - 40.00 NWS 16.65 - 0.06 - 0.36 % 15.30 - 19.41 NXTL 30.55 0.38 1.26 % 21.18 - 30.50 OUTD 15.00 0.00 0.00 % 12.50 - 19.30 PAX 0.73 - 0.02 - 2.67 % 0.48 - 3.81 PIO 16.47 - 0.03 - 0.18 % 16.00 - 26.46 Q 3.88 - 0.04 - 1.02 % 2.56 - 4.86 SBC 23.28 - 0.10 - 0.43 % 22.78 - 27.29 SFA 34.00 0.70 2.10 % 24.61 - 36.06 SIRI 5.94 - 0.07 - 1.16 % 2.01 - 9.43 FON 23.88 0.19 0.80 % 16.83 - 25.80 TWX 17.49 0.09 0.52 % 15.41 - 19.90 TIVO 6.58 - 0.17 - 2.52 % 3.45 - 7.79 UCOMA 9.15 0.04 0.44 % 5.80 - 10.23 VZ 35.36 - 0.02 - 0.06 % 33.71 - 42.27 VIA 34.18 - 0.26 - 0.75 % 32.56 - 39.26 DIS 27.58 0.14 0.51 % 20.88 - 29.99 XMSR 32.52 0.41 1.28 % 22.43 - 40.89 ===================================================================== For all the industry critical news - see: The BRIDGE War Room - http://www.mbc-thebridge.com/research.cfm SkyREPORT - http://www.skyreport.com SkyRETAILER - http://www.skyretailer.com The BRIDGE - http://www.mbc-thebridge.com -------------------------------------------------------------------- -To modify your subscription to The Evening Bridge, visit http://www.mbc-thebridge.com/register.cfm We welcome your comments and suggestions.
