TOP STORY -- AP reports today that dispite a four-hour, nationwide 
outage on Friday, only a select few cellular networks reported any 
problems. Cingular said their outage lasted for three hours and 49 
minutes, T-Mobile reported service restoration by noon ET and Nextel 
reported only some customers experienced trouble with e-mail delay. 
Verizon and Sprint, however, said they received no customer complaints 
at all.

Research in Motion, manufacturer and designer of the BlackBerry 
wireless platform, did not comment for the story.

Time Warner and Nielsen Media Research extended their contract for TV 
audience estimates for Time Warner's broadcast, cable and syndication 
business units including Turner, WB, HBO, Court TV and others --- 
Comcast is teaming up with NBA Entertainment to provide in-depth 
coverage of this year's NBA Draft on June 28, through the league's 24-
hour channel, NBA TV --- Disney announced the opening of the new 
Disney Soda Fountain and Studio Store on Hollywood Boulevard --- 
AT&T announced it has renewed and expanded its networking 
agreement with Church Mutual Insurance to provide an Internet Protocol 
Virtual Private Network solution; terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Starz Entertainment Group named Michael Gallegos director, on-demand 
promotion and production, and the addition of Michelle Ohryn as 
executive director, business affairs programming --- Federal 
Communications Commission Commissioner Kathleen Abernathy said 
Russell Hanser, special counsel to the chief of the Wireline Competition 
Bureau's Competition Policy Division, has joined her office as acting 
legal advisor on wireline competition issues.
