--------------------------------------------------------------------- The Evening Bridge - December 12, 2005 --------------------------------------------------------------------- TOP STORY - Earlier today, the cable industry reportedly offered family programming tiers in an effort to give families more control over content they don't want in their homes. Brent Bozell, president of the Parents Television Council, said while cable offering family tiers is a positive gesture, "it's not a positive step. Family tiers are not the same as providing consumers with cable choice, the ability to take and pay for only what they want." More reaction to the family tiers effort in Tuesday's SkyREPORT (http://www.skyreport.com).
