TOP STORY -- Jakarta's police chief urged the Indonesian publishers of 
Playboy magazine to put off their next issue after about 300 hardline 
Islamists vandalised the building housing Playboy's offices yesterday. 
The attacks were a protest against the company's publication in the 
world's most-populous Muslim nation. Protesters threw rocks at the front 
lobby, breaking windows of the building south of Jakarta after the 
magazine hit Indonesian news-stands for the first time.

BellSouth and The Weather Channel Interactive announced the 
availability of Notify!, a new service providing customized alerts of 
severe weather delivered to phones, e-mail or pagers --- A jury in 
Marshall, Texas, began deliberating on a civil suit to determine whether 
EchoStar infringed on a TiVo patent for technology that captures video 
programming from a hard disc --- Portland, Ore.'s city government 
picked MetroFi Inc. over EarthLink and VeriLan Inc. to create wireless 
internet access across the city  --- In observance of Good Friday,
