I am indeed not implied in GNOME marketing and have no real marketing experience, that's why I don't participate in real discussions. I also don't care the email client you use even if I agree that sending an email to journalists from such client may look funny to the few percentage of journalist who are technical enough to notice it. I was however surprised to see such public statements against one of GNOME products from someone who reminded the day before that he had offered to be a representative of GNOME for the press. I was quite shocked and wanted to tell it...
