My apologies for not reacting quickly enough on this; we ended up having our hands full trying to get our own action together for SFD. However, it would be great to coordinate on something for next year. Also, as a general point, if you ever think there are important GNOME announcements that we could be promoting, let us know at [email protected], or me directly. We try to keep an eye out ourselves as well, but we would love to include anything like that in our Free Software Supporter monthly newsletter (about 32,000 subscribers right now). Other channels like blogs posts on fsf.org could be appropriate too.
