I wonder if there should be a clear visual difference still, so the pages are not mistaken with official pages. Because for example some pages may be outdated, or have prospective content, etc. Some visual to show that it's live content. Maybe a ruler looking like teared paper? or?

I like that idea!
The look of these pages are clearly different from regular gnome.org, but I agree there is value to give some sorts of visual hint that these pages are a bit wilder in their nature. I'll see if I can figure something out.
