Hi Andre Klapper Linux mint is using MGSE ie the gnome-extensions created by them on gnome3 i dont think ur wrong here they configured(modified) linux mint with some extensions to make it more user friendly here's the link http://www.linuxmint.com/rel_lisa_whatsnew.php
