Hi all, I would like to coordinate the new release announcement with the PR team of the Apache Software Foundation. We have agreement with them to support the project by publishing a PR for the new releases. For this reason, may I suggest that we agree on a release announcement date? I would suggest Monday we do an announcement on the project website, social channels and also will ask if it is feasible for the Apache Team to make it also Monday. Any thoughts?

Furthermore, a large portion of the PRs are fixes of previous PRs on the same milestone; therefore, this number should be rechecked (I can help you on that).
