After another couple hours of battling Wordpress’ undocumented XML export format, I saw sense and did a manual-ish migration. It took a lot less than two hours. Grrr.
I copied across all published posts: - content - timestamps (published, not last updated) - categories - tags (only a few posts used this) This means we lost: - authors (but this can be fixed if anybody is worried about it) - comments :-( - permalinks as the format is different: http://blog.couchdb.org/entry/apache_couchdb_1_6_0 http://blog.couchdb.org/entry/couchdb_weekly_news_june_06 ... These are all stored as drafts, feel free to review & edit if you want to.
