Hi marketing people,

[Taking off ASF hat]

Over at Neighborhoodie Software, where I am employed, we are seeing a
significant increase in the number of clients running CouchDB over the
past 3-6 months. We get a number of different types of clients,
including database-per-user-with-mobile-sync clients,
big-data-high-volume clients, and enterprise-satellite-office-sync
clients.

We'd love to tell the world about this and highlight the good uptake of
CouchDB for the Apache community, but we don't want it to sound like a
sales pitch for our CouchDB support/consulting business. We really want
the focus to be on the relative increase in popularity of CouchDB with
the release of 2.x. I think we can work with this list to write
something that everyone feels is community-supporting, not corporate
market-speak.

Is there interest in such a post for the CouchDB Blog? Does anyone have
any concerns with posting something like this?

Thanks,
Joan Touzet
