My thinking was that it should be a pro bono thing. Hopefully the
kudos of contributing to a prestigious FOSS project like LibO might be
sufficient motivation.

That all sounds OK to me, again, as long as the other graphic arts members do not feel like they were not given the time to help contribute on their own.
