True, but you get a flower for that ;-). No, I see what you mean. But
what about the weights for L and O? Is it better that way?

Well, but Writer/Calc/Impress/Base are the main program parts and have
always been, as far as I can remember. Also, another famous office
suite from Redmont uses it:

And I must disagree, these are exactly the four parts people look for
when switching from MS Office to LibO. Where's Word? Excel?
PowerPoint? And Access?

I agree and think such a logo also communicates integration of four
software parts into one suite.

But nevertheless, I'm really craving for a comment on the TEXT of the
logo and the way I changed it.
(The fact that I haven't closed the f bar to the i is on purpose; try
it - it looks too much like a block to me, making the ffi stick out in
a negative way. Keeping it separate looks much better to me.).
