I created the wiki page at https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Events/2012 and filled in the events for Europe that I always know. I added sections for North and South America. Maybe we need also a section for Asia / Australia. It's a wiki, so everyone could create such a section. I've got the information from Christian Lohmaier that there is calendar add-on in our website (Silverstripe) and we can use it to make our user aware of the events we'll attend next.
