It was a huge effort involving many people and organisations, including OFE, FSFE, OSC and indeed OSI. The outcome would not have been this good without all of them. What was encouraging was that a community spontaneously formed to work on this without the need for an arch-organiser - or, indeed, a corporate paymaster.
