Yes. Actually, I would rather put it at the top of each OS section
rather than on the installation page itself. I think it would look
strange to have it sitting there.
OK.
I am wondering about the text. How about:
A reminder that, in addition to the "Main Installer", you will have to
download the "LibreOffice built-in help" packages which are separate
from the Main Installer.
Is OK. And add. " You can use LibreOffice without this package; it will
then go to the Help on the website. "
or something.
Does this sound like would create more confusion? It almost feels like
we would need to add a reason as to why the help files are not included.
I think it's fine. But the simple reason is: " Separate Help packaged
make it possible to keep the main installer significant smaller. "
Cheers,
Thanks. Done.
I used the following text for the Win and Mac pages:
"A reminder that, in addition to the "Main Installer", you will have to
download the "LibreOffice built-in help" package which is separate from
the "Main Installer". You can use LibreOffice without this package,
however, it will then go to the "Help" page on our website instead. A
separate "Help" package makes it possible to keep the "Main Installer"
significantly smaller for downloading purposes."
I used the following text for the Linux pages. The reason is that it was
not written up in the same way the Win/Mac pages were written.
"At this point, you may also want to to install the "LibreOffice
built-in help" package which is separate from the installation package.
You can use LibreOffice without this package, however, it will then go
to the "Help" page on our website instead. A separate "Help" package
makes it possible to keep the installation package significantly smaller
for downloading purposes."
Cheers,
Marc
