Hi :) Did anyone have better luck furthering negotiations? Any negotiation often starts with the other person taking a less than ideal position. When i first replied to this email i was hoping that others would join in and give other points or re-arrange my points to make them more useful for use in furthering the negotiation.
However, don't worry if you did get discouraged. There is always time to return to this later. At the moment they have no outside help in supporting their product and have to build-up their own community. Joining in with LO would give them a larger community and draw in help from some fairly large companies (although those companies don't seem to care about the state of Base at the moment). Also it is sometimes better to just move on quickly and try to grab all the low-hanging fruit while it's available and then later on consider returning for the trickier ones.
