The only "deadline" is getting it to the people who need brochures "now" for their marketing needs. If there are any changes made, or some that might make them better, I have no problem with those edits and the time it takes. I was making the brochures up for my needs and Marc helped there, but we both seemed to thing that having new ones on the wiki pages that were not made in 2011 would be helpful to our local marketers. If you want to have the BoD to go over it and make changes, by all means. This process in ongoing and then maybe the local groups could add their local needs to them.
No deadline, but could we first finish these two to the point where the marketing team is satisfied?
Charles: Why do you need to submit it to the BoD? We have never had to do this. Usually the marketing team writes up the material and the leads: Italo and yourself would give us some direction -- at least that is how it was normally done.
After we are done with this pamphlet (official and community versions), we should move on to another version with emphasis on community. We need to offer people options on the choice of pamphlets they could use in their communities or for different uses. We could also work on other types of pamphlets.
We could offer: * pamphlet for general information (the one we are presently working on) * pamphlet with emphasis on coding/development community * pamphlet with emphasis on community * pamphlet with emphasis on design (UX & VI) * pamphlet with emphasis on documentation * pamphlet with emphasis on QA * pamphlet with emphasis on sponsorship * pamphlet with emphasis on l10n * pamphlet with emphasis on website management * others?
