Does this mean that there is no longer a need for me to update the
Google events calendar?
No I would not say that because I would like to link from the site
page to our wiki and the calendar. The reason I ould like to change it
is that there is a difference in presentation between a calendar that
will point out dates and displaying info about the next upcoming
events. Do you see my point?
Best,
Charles.
No problem. So, if I understand this correctly, there will still be
this
calendar
[http://www.libreoffice.org/about-us/libreoffice-international-events-calendar/]
as well as the new events page that will link to it?
Well i was thinking of linking directly to the calendar without a website page
but maybe we could do that. What would it require? A simple embedding in the
html?
Bedt,
Charles.
Ah, no problem with linking directly to the GCalendar. I was just under
the impression that we wanted to keep our site visitors on our website,
which I am sure could be worked out. But it may be easier to just link
to the external Google Calendar site as this would maybe involve less
legwork for whoever will do the events+logo updates.
Cheers,
Marc
