Could we try to watch our cross postings to our mailing lists? We should
try to clearly identify the targets of our subject line and try to post
only on lists where it matters.
Otherwise, we keep getting fragmented discussions. Some of our
discussions are being sent to the design list when there is no need for
design work, or sent to the website list, when there is no need for
website work etc.
I find the increase noise is distracting and not efficient for those of
us working on these lists. If some are unsure of why these lists exist,
then ask, and we will fill you in. But, surely, some of the topics that
I have read don't really need to be sent to all of the lists. It is also
better to have the discussions done only on one list so that we discuss
for a purpose and not for just discussing.
Sorry, I am just finding the recent increase in cross postings distracting.
Cheers,
Marc
