No problem! One of the main reasons for the pitch process is mainly to just
check if an article is suitable before the author goes ahead and spends too
much time on writing it. Your article looks pretty on-topic to me, so no
worries about that :D

Yeah, i thought the same thing about splitting it up -- IMHO, it will work
well as a what's new, and an intro to PostgreSQL article.
