Hi Kadal, I'm glad you are contributing! But I do want to alert you to a few things that you may have missed. First, this list, like virtually all the Apache OpenOffice lists, is a public list. For that reason, we urge caution when putting out private information, like phone numbers (hint). Second, this, like other lists, is a community lists: it's a mail list that is read and responded to by many, not just any one single individual, though it may seem that way at times :-) The custom--not codified but pretty much accepted--is that if a person is named, then others on the list who could very ably reply, don't; they wait until the named person replies. So, to keep the conversation expanded and active, the better tactic is to use: * All * [Name], et al., or [Name], etc. or [Name], * or just, what most of us end up using, "Hi" Cheers and welcome again, Louis
