Hi I have done the ff ligature manually as Inkscape AFAIK does not support OTF-ligatures. I don't like the i point merged into the f (see Gill Sans http://www.will-harris.com/ligatures.htm or here http://layersmagazine.com/the-art-of-type-ligatures-fusion-power.html). @Dave: Could you make an example how ffi should look like?
