One suggestion when KDE asked to co-host Qt Contributors' Summit, was to run the Contrib.Summit on Wednesday-Friday or Thursday-Saturday "inside" the KDE Akademy 8-9 day program. It was three main reasons: 1. It could make the conference even more interesting with a wider program. 2. Secondly it will strengthen the Qt/KDE community. 3. People tending both events don't get to exhausted. I'm told from the KDE organizers that the University in Bilbao is fairly big and got enough space for hosting all participants with rooms++.
