Hi John

We ran a stand last year but it didn't work out. Poor Tobias had to stay there
most of the time and we had to borrow people from the KDE stand to staff it. We
didn't have enough collateral either. To run a stand again -- and I think we
should for next year's FOSDEM, maybe this year's OSCON too -- we need to be
sure to have enough staffing, to have the collateral, etc.

As for governance, I presented that topic two years in a row at FOSDEM, so I
decided not to do it this year. I also did not attend due to travel budget
constraints at Intel. I did present "Qt Project 2 years later" at LinuxCon
Europe last year showing that the governance is working fine and that the
project is a success and continues to be viable. If you have any contacts
still looking for that reassurance, point them to my session.

As for the "getting started", I wonder what we can do. Besides making more
wiki pages, does anyone have a suggestion?

Red herring... the decision was Dirk's :-)

Besides, running an app on Mac, Window and Linux? That's where we excel at. If
you want interesting stories, look at Wireshark and LXDE porting from Gtk to
Qt. Especially LXDE, since they're not in the business of doing cross-
platform.
