Morning everyone.
I would like to start a contact list for everyone. I thought about putting
something on the Wiki, but I really wanted to get everyone's email address,
location, and areas of expertize, as well as hobbies that might be useful to
our efforts, so I think I would rather have that information offline for
everyone.
All those that would be willing to share that information if you could email
it to me at [email protected] I would really appreciate it.
I am going to create seperate list for those in the US, and those in
Canada. We can all share this information if no one has any objections.
If you speak an additional language other than english I would like to know
about that as well.
I am also looking into finding other ways for us to colaborate on things,
and would like your input on that as well.
Thanks
James Walker
Hi James
I would be more in favour of gaining control of the Marketing Wiki and
doing this in public. We need to be transparent and I would think that
the SC (LibO Streeting Committee) would like to track our effort without
having to go look for it. Perhaps we could model ourselves on the Magiea
Marketing Wiki model where I also participate
http://ooogear.co.nz/mageiawiki/index.php?title=TeamTalk I find this
format very efficient, transparent for everyone and it sends the message
of commitment from the marketing team as well as creating a "team
spirit" evironment.
We would also divide the page up into US (at the top) and Canada (junior
partner) at the bottom. We should also perhaps at some point decide on a
spokesperson for each group for when we publish/announce campaigns,
reports etc.
Let's form the groups infrastructure first and then organise resources
and campaigns later.
Note: a person in the group should also be given the admin right to
"lock-down" pages for voting or "freezing" purposes.
