The airplane must fly properly. My printer cut the lines off near the
edge of the paper. Maybe there could be an allowance for printing some
reasonable distance from the edge. When I got done folding, the plane
would only nose dive (perhaps too much weight in the nose. A
nosediving document doesn't send a good message.

This is a wonderful idea. There will be kids of all ages at the Fest.
I think that this would go over well. It's gotta fly though.
