Hi,
To keep the list up to day - Tim, Marc, Jeff and myself have been
exchanging emails of recent days regarding the work in progress found
here:
http://www.lungstrom.com/libreoffice-dvd-project/LibreOffice-disc-North-American-DVD/index.html
As part of that I've suggested that the text on the index.html page be
altered, replacing everything between the headings

Thanks Drew.
We are working on editing/re-working the text on the pages to fit the
needs of the North American Community users. Much of the original test
was a translation from the German language DVD being developed by the
LibreOffice-Box team.
http://devel.libreofficebox.org/die-aktuelle-version-libreoffice-3-3-1/
I/We copied a large part of their visual style, and their text
describing the various modules of LibreOffice.
There DVD has a Developer's page, our does not. I have replaced that
page with a Documentation page with as much documentation [.odt, .pdf,
etc.] currently available [read found].
The DVD is currently in the English version stage, but [hopefully] will
soon be ready for our gracious volunteers to translate the text of this
version to Spanish [Español] and French [Française? Français? ]. After
that, the three versions will be merged into a single DVD where you can
use links at the top of the pages to switch the language of that page
between the three languages.
Any suggestions for adding/modifying the following text from the
Info/index.html page?
----------------------------------------
LibreOffice - The Free Office Suite Alternative
LibreOffice supports a large number of file formats, including the
following:
Open Document Format [ODF], Microsoft® Office file formats,
HTML, Word Perfect, Rich Text Format, Lotus formats, Office
Open XML, along with many other word processor, database,
spreadsheet, image/drawing, and other formats used for personal
and business needs.
See the Module pages for more information about the modules of
LibreOffice and what LibreOffice can do for your office suite
needs. These modules are:
Writer - word processor, Calc - spreadsheet, Impress - presentation,
Draw - drawing, Base - database, Math - formula editor.
----------------------------------------
Note: The following words have been linked to their respective pages:
Module pages, Writer, Calc, Impress, Draw, Base, Math
<snip>
Others input most appreciated.
Thanks
Drew
