Hi Drew, as there are a few hackers in US (see the developers interviews on the blog), I suggest to ping the developers mailing list. I don't think that developers follow the marketing lists, while I think that having - for instance - Norbert Thiebaud (based in Texas) and Kohey Yoshida (based somewhere on the east region) would be a very good result for the US community.
