I think we should give it a try for our purposes.
while I have no hands-on experience with Google+ video chats, for an
article I've recently written, I tested various video conferencing
systems. Being affected by the problems with Mumble, I found the Google
Mail chat by far the most uncomplicated one, so trying out Google+ might
be ineed worth a try.
Didn't know about WebRTC, so thanks for mentioning it, sounds definitely
worth investigating further!
