Florian Thanks, there was considerable damage from flood and the storm surge but fortunately very few deaths or injuries reported from Cape Hatteras (North Carolina) to Canada. Most of the residents and visitors obeyed the evacuation orders and went to shelters on higher ground and inland from the shore and low areas.
