Job Description:
Financial Business Partnering role in Maersk Line actively supports the
business by creating valuable insights and enabling better decision making. To
achieve our ambitious targets in the Pakistan Cluster we are now looking for an
experienced analytical candidate with strong interpersonal and communication
skills to join our team.
As Financial Business Partner, you will be the owner of local Maersk Line
financial data in business systems. Your role will be to partner with our many
stakeholders in the cluster organization and supporting them with yield
optimization improving the overall financial results.
· You will constructively challenge the local business decisions and
propose improvements for the benefit of Cluster ML contribution
· You will chair monthly Cluster reviews of Maersk Line profitability
· You will need to ensure timely and accurate Maersk Line financial
information is provided to other Cluster functions
· You will need to drive identification of local opportunities to
improve profitability (Pockets of Potential)
Learning opportunities
You will obtain significant understanding of the Maersk Line business strategy
in Pakistan including operational, commercial and financial activities.
To be successful you will co-operate with several parties in the cluster
organization (Cluster Top, Finance Manager, Sales Managers, Trade & Marketing
Manager, and Operation Managers). This will give you a unique opportunity to
develop a broad cross-functional business knowledge and position you well for
your career in Maersk Line.
Key Competencies/Skills
You are an analytical individual and you are able to see the business behind
the numbers. You have a sense of urgency and personal drive to challenge senior
management. You should be a self-starter and have a persuasive personality
combined with strong team working skills.
You have demonstrated that you can apply your financial and business acumen by
translating financial and other performance related data into value adding
commercial/operational strategies.
