Hello all, Back on Monday, 12/3, Brian Holtz posted a message to this group, part of whose title was "Leaner LPCA Budget....".
This was a list of recent posts to his Knowing Humans blog, the first of which was a link to a set of informal minutes of the 12/1 LPCA EC meeting. (Good thing too, as the formal minutes are not getting posted to the LPCA website, see http://www.ca.lp.org/cat_minutes.shtml where the minutes of the SEPTEMBER meeting are not yet posted.) My usual action, when reading these sorts of things, is to give a sigh and a chuckle at the wacky machinations of the EC, and move on. In this case though, Brian unfortunately chose to characterize Gail Lightfoot and me as "contrarian[s]", and believers in a "nefarious plot". This has made it necessary to respond to that post in his blog, which (presuming you much care) you can track down via the link in his original message.
