Paulie, about half of the 2008 PlatCom is on
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/LPplatform-discuss/, along with Susan Hogarth,
Tom Knapp, several LNC members, and about 100 other Libertarians. There
have been 1600 messages posted there in this Platform cycle, with never a
single moderation problem. That's clearly been the premier email list for
debating Platform proposals. The PlatCom has also officially created a blog
for Platform debate at http://www.lpplatform.blogspot.com/, but it's only
received two comments in its first week of existence, and it's unclear how
much uptake it will achieve.

At any rate, email and blog-comment debates are only marginally more
constructive than people ad-lib'ing into microphones. Along the lines of
what Steve Gordon has given us above, it would be better for the advocates
of various Platform proposals to assemble and maintain competing FAQ-like
documents explaining why their draft is best. I'll be creating one for the
Pure Principles draft at http://libertarianmajority.net/pure-principles-faq
<http://libertarianmajority.net/> .
