Hi all !
I'm a student of the Murmansk State Technical University (biological faculty). I work as a seals trainer in Murmansk oceanarium. I conduct research of harp seals nutrition in captivity (estimation of assimilation of fat and protein) by analyzing urine and excrement. Now I'm going to research changes in phisiological state of harp seals by analyzing urine and excrement (presence of glucose,hepatogenous pigments, albumen, pH and so on).
I wonder if there were similar researchs on seals or other animals and where in the Internet I can get information about it.
