Conference "Cetaceans, sea turtles and sharks of the northern Adriatic Sea" 20th - 21st October 2006 Hall "Alberto Marvelli" - Provincia di Rimini FIRST CALL FOR PAPERS Dear Colleagues, whitin the framework of the project ADRIA-Watch "An Observatory of the Great Vertebrates of the Northern Adriatic sea" we have the pleasure to invite you to attend the conference "Cetaceans, sea turtles and sharks of the northern Adriatic Sea". Provincia di Rimini, with the collaboration of Fondazione Cetacea, will be hosting the Conference that will be held at the Provincia di Rimini palace, Hall "Alberto Marvelli", in Rimini. Papers are now invited for these dates. The main theme of the meeting will be information aimed to public awareness and education. Sessions may include as well: Conservation and management Distribution and abundance Interaction with fisheries Biology and behaviour Morphology, molecular biology and genetics Presentation, exhibition and poster opportunities will also be available.
