Dear Marmamers,
I am doing some research on the Namibian fur seal trade. As part of this trade they sell dried genitalia to the Asian market. From export data (in kg), I am trying to infer the mass of the genitalia for both adult and pup Cape fur seals (Arctocephalus pusillus) and have come up with the values, once dried, of 15g for the bulls and 1.25g for the pups (6 months old). Does this make biological sense?
