Call for papers and participants:
All topics concerning cetaceans, pinnipeds, sea otters, and polar bears
are welcome, with special emphasis on:
- Estimates of population size
- Population structure
- Distribution, movement, migration
- Ecology, behavior, acoustics
- Physiology and health
- Assessment of human-related impacts (acoustic, chemical,
radioactive, etc.)
- Climate change impact on marine mammals
- Subsistence and commercial use of marine mammals
- Protection and management of marine mammal populations
(legislative, protection measures, etc.)
The conference organizing committee welcomes ideas/proposals on
workshops and sessions to be held during the conference. Please send
your proposals to [EMAIL PROTECTED] before the 15th of
May, 2008.
