Dear Marmamers,

We are interested in quantifying the total number of cells in the auditory
and visual cortecies of seals and harbour porpoises for comparison. For that
purpose, we are looking for information on the visual cortex in seals or
other pinnipids. Most important is the location of the visual cortex.
We have been able to find a single reference on the subject: Gruenau SP,
Shurley JT. Visual evoked responses (VER) changes during maturation in the
Weddel seals. Dev Psychobiol 1976; 9(5):477-93.
