The Adriatic Dolphin project is the main scientific project of the Blue World Institute of Marine Research and Conservation, a non - profit organisation dedicated to research and conservation of the Adriatic bottlenose dolphins with field bases on Croatian islands of Lošinj (Northern Adriatic, Kvarnerić) and Vis (Central Adriatic, Dalmatia).
Lošinj field base is currently accepting internship applications for the period winter/spring of 2013. The internship offers an excellent opportunity for qualified and motivated individuals to obtain experience and training in the collection and elaboration of the scientific data. Gaining also practice and knowledge in the field of marine biology with the main emphasis on studying the bottlenose dolphin (Tursiops truncatus) ecology under the mentorship of experienced marine biologists.
