Save the Manatee Club, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, is seeking a staff member for its science and conservation department to work in the Club’s Maitland, FL office. This employee will assist the Director of Science and Conservation in matters of policy, management, science, and education directly linked to the organization’s mission to protect manatees and their habitat. The position involves little to no field work and requires travel and public speaking. Excellent scientific and creative writing ability required. Must be self-motivated and able to work independently. Salary is $957 bi-weekly. Medical, dental, and retirement benefits available. A bachelor’s degree in biology or environmental policy/science is required at a minimum.
