Ocean Science Consulting Ltd. (OSC) has immediate Marine Mammal Observer
(MMO) and Passive Acoustic Monitoring (PAM) Operator positions available
in Europe. All MMO/PAMOs must have previous seismic experience, all
relevant and up-to-date medical and offshore safety certificates to work
in European waters, and must be available to mobilise immediately for
durations >30 days, possibly longer. A full, clean driving licence is
required for some positions. Prior experience operating a CTD and water
sampling equipment is also desirable for some positions, but not a
prerequisite, since training will be provided.
Please note, this advertisement is for European waters. If you are not
able currently to work in Europe, please do not apply. Preference will
be given to observers that can mobilise quickly.
