Dear colleagues,

I am delighted to share with you our recent opinion letter just published in
Marine Mammal Science about the foraging strategy of harbour porpoises.

Resilience of harbor porpoises to anthropogenic disturbance: Must they really
feed continuously?

This letter discuss the observations reported by Wisniewska et al in 2016 in
Current Biology about the “Ultra-High Foraging Rates of Harbor Porpoises Make
Them Vulnerable to Anthropogenic Disturbance”.

The authors also made an answer to our letter that you can read here

Response to “Resilience of harbor porpoises to anthropogenic disturbance: Must
they really feed continuously?.”
