Dear Colleagues, We have limited spaces on the Seiche Training (www.seichetraining.com<http://www.seichetraining.com>) NZ PAM course, 01-05 Oct, in Wellington, New Zealand, and the closing date for bookings is vastly approaching. The 5-day course is approved by the Department of Conservation. The course qualifies delegates to work in New Zealand waters as a PAM operator on industrial activities. The course is also designed to provide all delegates with knowledge of marine mammal ID, vocalisations and sound production, as well as gaining experience in PAM and PAMGuard software. The course will have theory and practical sessions using PAMGuard to detect and localise marine mammals. the last day of the course will be on the boat to carry out real time acoustic monitoring using a Seiche PAM system in search for marine mammals.
