Dear Marmam Community, We are seeking an experienced National Marine Fisheries Service approved PSO for an upcoming dredging and marine construction project in Florida. Candidates with U.S. work rights and previous Hopper Dredging and Clamshell Dredging experience are required.
Looking to fill an immediate opening in Tampa starting December 01, 2021, with ongoing work. Housing is provided along with competitive compensation, and a professional work environment. Requirements: Protected Species Observer / Marine Endangered Species Observer: - Bachelor Degree in Marine Biology or related field. - Prior protected species observing experience during dredging, or marine construction projects, especially clamshell. - Previous experience monitoring for Sea Turtles and Manatees. - National Marine Fisheries Unconditional Approval Letter. - Excellent communication and report writing skills. - Must have own vehicle and smart phone. - Experience working outdoors in the elements for extended periods of time.
