Dear MARMAMers, We are excited to announce that SLR is presenting a two-day workshop, regarding underwater noise from commercial vessels and associated environmental impacts, in cooperation with Transport Canada's Quiet Vessel Initiative or QVI.
This is the second of several workshops around Canada that will be held at a reduced price, and the first one taking place in Truro, Nova Scotia. Attendees can range from undergrad students to professionals in industry & research (or anyone with an interest in underwater sound, the ocean, and the conservation of marine mammals).
