Hello all, The Virginia Aquarium Stranding Response Program is currently advertising to fill a paid, part-time staff opening. The selected candidate will work approximately 30-32 hours per week at a rate of $15/hr. Though this position emphasizes a focus in sea turtle husbandry and rehabilitation, the selected candidate should expect to gain exposure and experience in all aspects of the Virginia Aquarium Stranding Response Program, including response to live and dead stranded marine mammals and sea turtles, rehabilitation of sea turtles, and necropsy of sea turtles and marine mammals, among other tasks and duties.
